  The highest peak in all Spain, due to its 3700+ metres, and one of the highest volcanoes still in activity. Unfortunately you must book pretty in advance or you are not able to reach the peak.

  We got the permits for the peak and got to 3718 m. The sensation is great and the view is awesome

  Wonderful nature, hiking is well signed, a lot to look around. Going to a peak permission needed, but had one, and went straight to the top. Must visit in Tenerife

  I will advice to do trip to the bottom by your legs. But dont forget a comfortable shoes, warm clothes, a lot of water and food with you. And the most beatiful time to reach the peak - is the sun rising.

  Just the right vulcano in the very right place, haha. Joking aside this place is well worth the hike. We have left the parking lot at about noon and reached the refuge past 10pm. Then left the refuge as the very last people to be the first at the top before the sunrise
