  Awesome firstly there is no alternative this is the only accommodation in the center of the world heritage site. The hotel is really good the food is very good very traditional Spanish and nice and considering you are in the middle of nowhere so there must be lots of extra cost involved it's very reasonably priced. the views are unbelievable. This is like being on the surface of the Moon, the story that they filmed the Star Wars Planet sequences here is totally believable. Everybody who visits Tenerife should try and book here for two nights and just walk around. But be aware you are at 7000 feet common British people you double the height of Ben Nevis and the atmosphere is really thin and you do get Breathless so people with a significant COPD shouldn't come here. Everyone else should come here once

  After trip up teide stopped at the parador for coffees. Sat outside admiring spectacular views , places like this is what memories are made of!

  Book in advance. There is a restaurant, a bar and a hotel. It's amazing to stay so high up.

  Overpriced meaningless tourist attraction. Terrible coffee/attention in the terrace. They really make a profit from being the only place around
